The 10th Cambodia-Japan Public-Private Sector Meeting was held on 19th June, 2014 at the Government Palace, Phnom Penh to discuss various issues including prospect of electricity rate, Permit/Approval Procedures to streamline the duplicated trading procedures as well as introducing of the Cambodian Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) system, Labor Issues (minimum wage) and the revision of investment law and related matters, aiming at improving investment climate in Cambodia. The Cambodian delegation, led by H.E. Mr. Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister attached to the Prime Minister, Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), included the officials from relevant government ministries and agencies. The Japanese delegation, led by H.E. Mr. Yuji KUMAMARU, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, composed of the members from the Embassy of Japan, JBAC, JICA and JETRO.
