Sub-Decree # 110 (RGC) on CALENDAR FOR PUBLIC HOLIDAYS OF CIVIL SERVANTS AND EMPLOYEES/WORKERS FOR 2011_100831
It has been decided to allow civil servants and employees of the Kingdom of Cambodia to take 26 days off as paid holidays in 2011. These are as follows:
1) One day-off for:
– International New Year (Jan 1)
– Victory over Genocide (Jan 7)
– Meak Bochea Day (Feb 18)
– International Women’s Day (Mar 8)
– Labor Day (May 1)
– Visak Bochea Day (April 28)
– Royal Plowing Day (May 21)
– International Children Day (June 1)
– Queen’s Birthday (Jun 18)
– Constitution Day (Sep 24)
– Coronation Day of the King Norodom Sihamoni (Oct 29)
– Former King’s Birthday Norodom Sihanouk (Oct 31)
– Independent Day (Nov 9)
– Human Rights Day (Dec 10).
2) Three days-off for:
– National New Year (Apr 14, 15, 16)
– King’s Birthday Norodom Sihamoni (May 13, 14, 15)
– Pchum Ben Day (September 26-27-28)
– Water Festival (Nov 9-10-11).
Any holiday falling on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday) shall move to the following day of next week. However, if the holidays fall on both Saturday and Sunday, only one day shall be carried over into the next week.
