Consumer Price Index in September 2011

The Consumer Price Index (Phnom Penh) increased by 6.7% in September 2011 compared with the same month of 2010.

The consumer prices have significantly increased to around 6 – 7% level since May, 2011. The price hike of food and non-alcoholic beverages has contributed to a price increase because it consists of 45% of composition.
